Keep All Eyes on You When You Speak

Keep All Eyes on You When You Speak

Welcome to the podcast!

Today I’ve got a great episode for you, How to Keep All Eyes on You When You Speak.  That doesn’t even mean standing on a stage speak, that means every time you open your mouth do people listen, do they keep all eyes on you?

Most people go about this the wrong way, that’s why I want to teach exactly what it takes for you to really have all eyes on you.  I want you to command the space and make an impact with your words and message.

It’s easier than you think to captivate the room.  You just need to know the technique.  Today, we are covering a lot of it.

People Pleasing in Voice and Communication Isn’t Serving Anyone

People Pleasing in Voice and Communication Isn’t Serving Anyone

Welcome to the show!

Join me today for part two of a four-part series, discovering how to limit noise in your communication and high-stakes relationships. We’ll begin with people pleasing and there is a lot to unpack here.

People pleasing is not only limiting your entire existence but they significantly affect your voice, communication, freedom, and happiness.

People pleasing is the number one struggle many of my client’s have.  When we try to please other’s we lose.  From a voice perspective you definitely lose because you aren’t revealing who you really are and it’s clear in your sound.  In fact, it’s so clear that you aren’t revealing who you are that we pass you by.

But it’s in communication that people pleasing can really wreak havoc.  Many people do this and it’s even more innate in women although men can be big people pleasers.  The bottom line, you’ll never have the freedom you want, the relationship you want, command the presence you want until you can start to be okay with saying what you want and trusting that it’s going to be okay.

Susie Connerley is back for more great advice and discussion.

Getting Past Your Story and Finding Your Voice with Jessica

Getting Past Your Story and Finding Your Voice with Jessica

Welcome to the show!

Today I have such a great guest with me.  Jessica has an incredible podcast where she helps women learn how to have more confidence, especially in the work place.  No doubt our work is very aligned.  But today is all about Jessica and the psychology of the voice story she’s been unraveling in her life.

Jessica and I do some heavy sleuthing to get her some answers on where her voice habits that are no longer serving her have come from.  We dig deep and get the answers we are looking for, then we go to work fixing the things are getting in the way of Jessica getting to the next level.

I think you will love hearing from Jessica, I know I loved working with her.

Today I’m talking about essential elements for you to consider with regards to your voice when you speak on a stage or present.

Now, you know I really feel like all of it matters, speaking on a stage, sitting in a board room, doing a video.  In my opinion you want to captivate and compel every single time you open your mouth.

Today I’m giving you some very specific steps and techniques for you to consider with regards to your own presentations and how you are using your voice whether you are standing in front of 10,000 or 10!
