Voice Technique for Impacting Your Children and Teens in a Positive Way #135
Welcome to the podcast.
Today I’m doing an episode based off of a suggestion from one of my favorite listeners. Can you talk about how to talk to our teens. Great question!
Since the Psychology of the Voice starts off when we are really young I couldn’t think of a better topic so thank you for the suggestion Stephen. Now, if you aren’t a parent, that’s okay, you’ll still get some great pointer’s on how to speak to people in your professional and personal life.
In today’s episode I’ll be talking about ways you can make a bigger impact with your child/teen and technique that you can do with your voice to get them talking to you.
I think you’ll like the episode and if you have any suggestions on other topics I’d love to hear from you! You can email me at firstname.lastname@example.org
Why Your Voice Really is the Most Powerful Tool Episode 134
Welcome to the show!
Today is a little bit different than what I’ve done in the past. Today I’m talking statistics. You’ve heard me rattle off all kinds of statistics and research about the power of the voice over the years but today you get it all in one episode.
Now, don’t fret, I don’t think it’s too statistical oriented, I’ve still got some great Tracy bits in here!
Don’t forget, the last call on Voices of Success, if you want to sign up you can do so here:
If you want to take the voice assessment you can get it here:
Voice Assessment, What You Think You’re Doing w/ Your Voice vs. What we Hear #133
Welcome to the show!
Today I’ve got something special for you. I’ve got an assessment that will help you evaluate what you are doing with your voice or what you think you are doing with your voice vs. what we are hearing.
Perception vs. Reception, you’ve heard me talk about it well today I’ve got a tool that you can use to assess what you are doing, then send in a recording and I’ll get back to you with what we actually hear.
You can get the assessment here: http://captivatetheroom.com/voice-quiz-sign-up/

How to Sound Professional but Not Like a Jerk Episode #132
Today’s episode is based on a question from a listener but with a little bit of an addition. The listener asked me how do they sound professional without sounding like the B word.
I’m addressing that but I”m also talking about the opposite that I hear from a lot and that is, if I speak with a conversational voice I won’t sound professional.
So, again we have to find the balance and ultimately take down the masks and reveal the real, best version of who you are.
If you struggle to own your power but still be kind and professional and the expert then today’s episode is for you!
